Advice please - what's the correct measurement between the fork link bolt holes on the inside face of the boots?

I will try to help if I understand correctly what you are asking for... What is the inside refference mate?
Hi Supereibar, thanks.
I basically mean the distance between the inside faces of the fork leg boots. When i try to fit new front bub and forks together, the distance between the fork links appears too much so I was wondering if the fork legs (or one of them) might be slightly bent.
I only picked the forklink bolt holes (on the inside of the forks) as a point of reference so I can compare with like with like. But any other point-to-point measurement will do I suppose, so long as the points are specified.
Hope that makes sense. Thanks again. Kind regards.

just measured mine,
Inside size of the 'U' tube (round) = 135mm at top and bottom (as they meet the fabricated boot),
Inside size of the fabricated Boot (with fixed washers) between holes = 127mm.
I have a spare set of S2 forks but damaged,
does anyone know what the projection is from the front of the down tube to the hole centres for the pivot bolts.

Old Lambretta's never die, they get tuned..................
Awkward one to measure that, I've tried but can't seem to get consistent result from calculation/measurements so wouldn't want to ill-advise you. If the 127mm figure you've provided is correct for a straight set, them mine appear to be bent, which probably accounts for me getting different result on projection from one fork leg to the other.
Would one of the dealers with the forks jig be able to give you a spot on figure perehaps?
