I sent him two barrels, hes tuned them both but only one needs a replate, the other just needs a couple of mm taking off the base of the cylinder to get the squish right and then it can bolt straight onRICSPEED wrote:i take it micks sorting the replate for you then as well?Wayne Miller wrote:Just heard from Mick Abbey, my cylinders should be back by Wednesday :baddevil:

The work that has been done . . . Mick you can correct me if Im wrong
Spigot altered to allow more gases into casings
Inlet, exhaust and transfers reworked, angled and left with a rough finish
Inlet has been left alone apart from the spigot work
Exhaust has been left alone apart from auxilliary ports have been raised to match exhaust and widened
Transfers, smaller of the two transfers (auxilliary?) has been widened and raised 1mm as well as re angled. Larger of the two transfers (Main?) has also been re angled.
All this was done to allow my exhaust to still work but hopefully give more torque at the bottom end.
It should be s**t of a shovel but we'll see :baddevil: :baddevil: :baddevil: :baddevil: :baddevil:
