Maybe someone on here can help me! anyone know what the gap should be between the fork links when fitted? I.E the gap where the hub should fit. I ask because I've been sold a set of links, fitted them but find the gap is too narrow to fit my front hub. The gap measures 4 & 3quarter inches between the hooks. Just want to arm myself with info before I contact the supplier.
Also is it possible to fit gp type links (with coorect rods & balls) to LI/SX type forks? I ask because I have a set lying about.

Thanks in advance

its often nessesery to push the links apart to get the hub in check u have the correct hub nuts on some are wider then others the measurment between the forks is what you need to measure really as a base line then see if one of the links is bent yes gp links will fit
in a li set of forkw with the correct rods and ball bearing
the 4 sets of forks i have measure between 130-134mm between the link bolt washer on the forks
one set with fitted links measures 130 ish between the link faces the hubs i have measure 128 and 130mm on the outside of the nuts which hold the hub together
