How can I put this........I don't know to be honest. The situation at the minute is that when the pipes were introduced, as any new product Martin started off with just a few to test the water. The Race one was made for the RB as we assumed that would be the bigger seller presuming people that buy an RB want to motor on. As you can imagine from a business point of view it is not possible to open sales with massive stock levels, or even sometimes a full range due to the time it takes to curl these things round a Lammy frame. The RB tourer is a complete new pipe as far as amount of work goes due to the exit angle of the port.
When we get the oportunity I'll try get some graphs with the straight version on the RB to post some results for ya.
Since the pipes started to go out, Martin will back me up on this - 'They've been going like hot cakes' and basically keeping up with demand for the current 3 is a task in itself. We have sent about a dozen as far as Japan and many all over europe. I called there again this week and they were down to 1 and awaiting another batch (Due v soon)!!
With it been silly season again I would think it will be later on in the year but I'll push Martin again and see what we can do.
I've now designed a middle of the road pipe, in between the two current syles. I suppose you could say a fast touring style designed to peak at around 8250rpm with the right setup. Hopefully have some test results soon, but dependent on those the final pipe will be some time as you can imagine
Anyway I'll see what I can do, I know its not the answer your looking for but at the minute its all I've got.
Cheers
Adam.

Cheers Adam, much appreciated. So it looks as though the tourer will be out towards the back end of the year and the mid sometime after that? Sounds as though you have test pipes for both or only the tourer?Adspeed wrote:Hi Sefsydduckett wrote:Anyone got an idea when this will be on the market?
