I was running a 30mm carb (Delorto) on my RB 25 kit and it went like stink, i have recently been offered a 34mm Mikuni carb with the promise it will improve the performance. Has anyone had any experience of fitting this carb to this kit, i know that AF Rayspeed recommend the 34mm Delorto to maximise performance. But i havent heard anything about fitting the Mikuni to this kit.

Also if i fit this carb will i have to change the inlet manifold (i would prefer the solid type as opposed to the rubber mounted type) as the rubber mounted unit i presently have is vibrating too much and causing the carb to rattle on the running board.

Apprieciate the input guys, anyone got any advise ???

Cheers

Is it the Mikuni TM 34 flatslide carb? Those are very good carbs but a pretty deep carb body. You'll probably need to cut a hole in the sidepanel.

Yes i think it is, it looks a lot bigger than the delorto, really dont want to cut a hole in an SX 200 panel.
Thanks for the pointer mate.
