adspeed vs jl4

ok i fitted a adspeed exhaust today to my race tuned ts1 230 after aquick run up the road
i was very impressed with the torque after cheking the gps top speed was well down
But i will change the gearing tomorow and im sure itl be back to a good top end speed
thinking of going up 2 teeth on the front and look at the jetting
all in all a great exhast well done to all involved and great service from chislespeed
ill let you no how i get on with the gearing im thinking 4.5 ratio but weil see

That'll be the rally one then. Totally different beast to the jl4. I've got mine on a ts230 also and I run 4.2 but before ran 4.52 and it was ok. The exhaust itself is only designed to peak at around 7k dependent on level of tune, mine peaks at 6.5k because of the lower port times/area revs to about 7k and that's it, but produces plenty of torque when going through the gears.
