New project - Vespa 152L2 1961

Picked this up tonight, 1961 Douglas 152L2 125cc, all complete although has not been on the road since 2002. Going to fit a standard(ish) P2 engine to make it a bit more usable and use the SIP 10 inch conversion kit for the front end to keep the original forks and the looks. Maybe an Ancillotti seat and a one colour paintjob after a bit of a rub down, although it does look kinda groovy as it is...

Must admit my thought was noddy.. :D ..be good to see the finished scoot though, plans sound good..

Sh*t, not even thought of that until now! :lol:

I did ask the bloke I got it from about the paint; he said he couldn't decide between red, yellow, blue or the original grey, so ended up using all of them.. :?

I might leave it like it for a laugh and put a floppy hat and some bells on it. Or maybe not...
