Mikuni TMX 35 Carb Keeps Falling off
I have a Mikuni TMX 35 on my RB22 kit, once the engine gets really hot after a few miles the carb drops off from the back inlet manifold, there is a sufficient hole in my side panel, the running boards have been cut so there is no contact there either, i have offset cones on the engine mount and i have used both the MB thick rubber with the wider jubilee clips, i have also tried the thinner ones that are now on the market without no sucess, all of these have been tried with different pressure when tightening up the jubilee clips all to no avail.
The carb is the close to the engine mounts and the toolbox but the people i have spoken to never seem to have problems that i am currently encountering
can anyone help please?

Have you got a pic of your inlet manifold?
When using a rubber its always handy to have a groove or lip at the end of your manifold to give the rubber adaptor something to grip against

Take the panel off and get your fattest friend to bounce on the suspension. You might find that its knocking on something. Mine was hitting the back of the toolbox. I fixed the problem by "adjusting" the shape of it with a lump hammer! (the toolbox not the carb!)

I had a stainless one but the cut out wasn't deep enough and the carb would fall off after catching on it a few times.

i had this problem a bit ago,in my case
the rear brake cable was hitting the
carb so just re-routed the cable and
problem cured
