Dare i ask what the 'complete package' price is for Cylinder kit, pipe, crank, ignition & carb?tony wrote:The kit will be sold complete and not just a barrel or pipe. It will be a complete package. The reasoning behind this is obvious. This is not your usual bolt on barrel. It will come complete with the ignition, carb and crank it was designed around. Components that are strong enough and have been thoroughly tested throughout its development. All cranks will be built by Charlie here in the Uk for Cam Lam sold kits.

No lower than £1900 but anymore than £2200 is too much, then you would really want a complete rebuild so £3900.
I have had a rebuild recently so think these figures are about right

I droped off a complete rapido 225 and picked up a RT255, the only parts used from the old engine were the engine cases, gearbox and ignitionsoosh wrote:What did you have done to it for that price?

TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.

Dan.. I dont know.. pricing is not in Charley's department. He has designed it for Tino only and the rest is down to the Italian guy himself.drunkmunkey6969 wrote:Dare i ask what the 'complete package' price is for Cylinder kit, pipe, crank, ignition & carb?tony wrote:The kit will be sold complete and not just a barrel or pipe. As above the lad paid £3300 for his motor.. we can all pay this sort of money for a top spec motor when you add it up. It will be interesting to see what the price is.

Much better its smoother and has more power i don't have to go up and down the box, i am running a 30mm carb and clubman exhaust so the power figures are not high 23bhp 20ft/lb torque but it pulls my 230lb bulkcol265 wrote:How does it compare to the Rapido? What's it like to ride?

Mark supplied what i wanted a long distance cruiser on my last two trips to Spain and France comfortable cruising was 6500 rpm about 75 mph and it will still pull up to 8000 rpm
you could DIY or use another builder tuner as mark has an expensive lifestyle (yacht, BMW panzer 1200 GS, homes in europe etc)

Didn't I say that on page 2?Supereibar wrote:I guess that if you like playing "russian rulette", knowing Tino and after the conversation I had with him on the ELJ, he will be selling it "untested" as well.

You have to love Tino, of course. For all he has done Lambretta. But he is Italian.

Nick... Easy tiger, no need to have a run down. Why not be constructive instead? You might be surprised once the project reaches the end of the tunnel.cezeta wrote:ive been calling camlam on and off for a few years now and they just sigh now![]()
with the amount of ports in it they probably have trouble keeping the remains of the metal in one piece.
a super monza twin would be nice
