Just got my new delly 26phbh,there is a brass sort of plate that fits on the bit where the atomiser screws into ,it covers the pilot jet,so had to lever it off to change the pilot,it has some holes ,what does it do?.

Its supposed to stop the fuel frothing due to vibration. Doubt you'd notice any difference if you left it off.
