i got the measurements wrong and welded my brackets too low. I would say its well over an inch would the effect be "no damping"?

Also, are adjustable dampers worth that amount of money if i have an imola?

Should be just about perfect for using the Kawasaki steering damper type dampers then :)

Normally have to use a spacer which is roughly about an inch and a half long with this type of damper to mount them in lambretta fork brackets so your damper mounts should be just about spot on.
