Gave the scooter a bit of a hard time coming back from Cleggy yesterday coupled with a very nasty headwind meant my clutch was slipping quite badly.
When I'd parked up at home i noticed quite a large amount of oil on the patio (in the doghouse for that one) it's definately gear oil and not 2 stroke ( different colour) could the clutch overheating be the cause of the oil being spat out of the breather? I'd not overfilled it and it's not happened before - could it be the start of something more sinister (seal going)

Which clutch springs are reccomended as in uprated but not too strong? Was looking at MBs - anyone any experience with these?

MB clutch springs are really good quality bits of kit, Ive had no probs with my clutch slipping on a 5 plate fitted to my TS1. However you will need arms like popeye if your riding around town as they are very stiff IMO. I have heard that the GT springs are very good too and are very light on the arm.

I agree the stainless breathers p**s out without a plate in them.As for springs ,Taffy or GT 200 .Put GT's with PX Vespa ones in a RB 22 for a mate ,been everywhere no probs and easy to pull in.
