TV200 porting
Following on from the thread in the for sale/wanted section about the first & second version TV 200 barrell would it be possible to port the later version barrell to pull the TV 200 gearing?I've got a TV200 set up(minus the barrell) & would like to build an engine up to this spec.......

If you widen the exhaust port by 4mm, enlarge the transfer feeds at the bottom of the barrel, flow and match the transfers and inlet, and run std inlet timing it might just pull it if you're light. Using a ringbreaker in std form with a decent piston and TS type wire rings would pull TV200 gearing easily, especially if you had it bored to 225cc. Due to the low revving nature of the "ringbreaker" it would top out at about 66 mph but what a nice cruise at 60 ish.
