I strip the top end, because i want to change the exhaust to ScootRs/Sterling one (i have now a Casa Clubman), and i want to see if everything its ok.
The engine go well, but when i put the top end, 2 years ago, i didnt know anything about tuning, and i didnt check the squish (i put the big head gasket), i put standard gears of the engine (TV175, maybe too low 4,81 for this configuration, because dont pull very well in 4 and the top speed is not very good, i am 100Kg), ...
Now, i want to do the things better, checking the squish ...
Thank for your help!

I can put a 49 tooth clutch bell with std 15 front sprocket, and i will have 5,13 without change the gears.
If the AF website is ok, i need a Stretched 81 chain, is this correct?

There is a problem with the clutch or similar if i use 49/15? something that i must to know?
I can use too 46/14 to have 5.16, but i read in the AF website that there is no chain available for this. Its true?

A large rear sprocket, and a small front sprocket, puts a big strain on the clutch. You may need to think about getting a new gearbox to get 5.2. Incidentally, I have the same set up as you, with a PM expansion, and 5.2 is good.

Sell the TV box Arkaitz and buy a GP200, you may get more on ebay for the TV box than the cost of a new Indian GP box and sprockets. I've never seen a 49 crownwheel for sale.
46 x 14, hmm, stretched 79?

Oh my God!!! i start only changing exhaust, and end changing the gears, checking the piston/cylinder, etc...corrado wrote:Sell the TV box Arkaitz and buy a GP200, you may get more on ebay for the TV box than the cost of a new Indian GP box and sprockets. I've never seen a 49 crownwheel for sale.

OK, i can do one thing, i have a complete Li150 early spanish gearbox (italian same ratio), i want to use this gearbox for a future project like RB20 or something similar, but i read that is better the GP200 gearbox and sprockets for clutch life, then i can use this Li150 box, and sell or swap the TV175 box for a GP200 with sprockets.
I must ponder
Thanks!
