I'm not a complete 'numpty' with electrics (or so I think), but this one has me stuck. Li150 S3, all lights work unless you switch from side (parking) lights to main lights, then the rear bulb goes out (works on side/parking lights. So I think can't be earth (lights wouldn't work at back or front), can't be wiring or back lights wouldn't work, possible switch???. Lighting is AC only, no battery.

Any thoughts gratefully received.......

If the front light still works in that position then it sounds like it can only be the switch. Test it with a multimeter, between brown and black in the main lights position.

Could just be dirty. Try getting some electrical contact cleaner and spraying the switch, opreating it while your spraying. Alternate that with some wd40 and keep on doing it for a while alternating the chemiclas. You might just be able to clear the contacts of crud and make it work. Or try rebuilding the switch, cleaning off the coantacts. Just be careful of flying objects if you intend to rebuild ;)
That's not going anywhere...
