Spent most of a day trying to figure out the wiring after fitting new Casa loom and ignition switch, convinced I'd wired it correctly but kept blowing all the bulbs whatever I tried. Went through a bucket of bulbs before accepting defeat and taking it to an adult. He tested everything using a battery charger and everything was in it's rightful place and couldn't find any wiring faults. Said it could only be the regulator (new Ducati) so swapped it over for another new one and hey presto everything works. Spent today putting bodywork on and checking everything over before taking it for a test ride, after a couple of miles I remembered to try the lights ........ POP ......... they all blew. I didn't say "oh dear what can the matter be".
Casa AC loom, BGM stator, Ducati CDI, Ducati regulator, lightened Indian flywheel, all new. Any ideas??

No, we just fired it up and the bulbs didn't blow as they had on every other occassion so we thought we'd found it.

Check the regulator's earth connection, without this it can't regulate.
