They seem to tackle a problem most people are unaware of until they nip up or hole a piston after their motor ran for many trouble free miles. I believe most of our tuned motors have this weakness and it depends on riding style, roads used and time as to whether it rears it's ugly head.

I was talking to Charlie Edmonds last year about my TS1 demonstrating the symptoms described in the article and he felt this would cure it.

It's been around a while http://www.thunderproducts.com/thunder_powerjet.htm and it seems Charlie Edmonds has made a few tweeks and this is now available to us. If it works, and I have no reason to think it wouldn't as the theory stacks up, then this is a godsend IMO and I'll be trying it on my TS1 and GT186

does this not mean it gives you more fuel at high revs and less at low revs , when shutting off the throttle to cruise?
it seams that when cruising / coming off the throttle that the scooter runs weak??
can't see how the power jet fixes this problem :?

This is the way I see it...
With the powerjet you reduce your main jet size, therefore there is little bleedover from the main jet onto the mid range, so the midrange can now be set as a separate element of the jetting without the main jet playing a major part and would require richening.
