Off road while I changed kickstart shaft and took her out for first time in a number of months. Front wheel wobbled badly when I reach about 20mph. Stop and check wheels etc... all okay. Start and stop a few times with same thing but everything seems tight. After it warms up the wobble stops. My thinking is that this is a "flat" spot on rear tyre from sitting a long time. Is this the likely reason, is this a common occurence?
many thanks

I wouldn't think it was due to tyre flats after only a few months unless the tyre had gone flat maybe but even then :?

You don't have slime in your tubes by any chance, I would think it possible for that to settle. It would be a good idea to have a precautionart go round all your wheel and spindle nuts just in case it's something else.

Everything seems tight and didn't recur after warm up. Will give it all a thorough checking again anyhow. Thanks for reply.

My school bus used to have some major square wheels if it sat for to long, only on the bottom though ;) . Sounds like a reasonable theory, except I have never had it happen on a scooter. Was the scoot sat up while doing the kickstart with low air pressure?
That's not going anywhere...

To be honest and the more I think about it, it must have taken closer to 4 months as I had to order other "bits" - always the way I find! So it was on the stand for that time and before I moved it for the first time I did have to add some air into back tyre.

My Lammy stood for nearly 2 years had about 5 psi when I pumped it up no problems with square wheels. Bike was on its stand.
