Im going to upgrade my series 2 engine firstly I cant afford a muggelo,rt, imola etc so Im going to put on a 175 kit. I have a jetex and a AF clubman so will be run with these. What I dont no is what is best.
Should I
1. Buy an of the shelve kit?
2. Take a 150 barrel out to 175, If so what piston should I use and what is the best barrel to use as in a gp150 or li etc.

It has been noted that some 175 kits have small piston - bore clearance. This could lead to seizing, however carefully they are run in. If you go this route it's worth checking before you fit. :| I know, I've been there
