Whats the difference between an Li S2 & a TV S2?
In other words if I were to buy an Li125 S2 what would I have to change to build a TV175 S2 Replica and are these parts easily available (remade or original)?
Thanks
Whats the difference?

why not just uprate a few things, dampers on forks, decent engine components, and badge it up as a LI125? my brother in law has a series 2 with a 175/ electronic/ dampers etc, looks like a TV175 series 2, but badged as a LI125, because thats what it is. my pacemaker could easily be made to look like a TV200, but it"s got "PACEMAKER" on the old green logbook, and to me , thats rarer , and certainly better ,than a snide badge swapper. just do it as you like it, but keep it badged as it was. my GP project will be badged as a GP125 because thats what it is . 9000 italian GP 200"s made, 11000 italian GP 200"s registered in britain currently!
thats without the rest of the world!
makes you wonder eh!

Yeah I know what your sayin goldeneye- It wouldn't be to try deceive anyone (sell it on etc)- just for myself. Ive always had Li125's badged as 125's even when people were telling me to do a TV replica etc.
I was just wondering as they look pretty similar and cant seem to find many differences.

I`ve made a LI 125 special replica out of my TV200.

Keep on keepin on
badges, front hub and forks (with dampers). ignition/light switch and electrics, motor..
cant think of anything else but i sure there are a number of more subtle variations..

To fit the TV light switch you'll need the bottom part of the TV headset, I think the headset tops are the same though.
Headset bottom, ignition switch, light switch / housing, front hub and disc links will all be difficult to get or mega bucks.

if you need some damper mounted fork links then i have some s2 ones for sale there not the "disk type though but weld on lug type

Shocky, are these links you've modified yourself to accept damper? How much do you sell them for? Ta
