Just seen on a certain lambretta website. For sale, two origonal front wheel hub nuts, £25.00 (including postage though I might add).
Please tell me this isn't just me that wants to put the bloke selling these nuts, or anyone willing to buy them, out of their misery?
If it's someone known on this website, then I apologise if this offends, but ffs!
Btw, I've an origonal tyre skidmark still in my mams garage off a gp 200 from 1978. Sensible offers please, no idiots.

If your looking to build a scooter to the standard that Andy did then these may well be the holy Grail and the price probably reflects what he paid for them, I dunno. I've never seen any for sale and have no idea what they're worth, I also don't have a requirement for them. Have you seen some cheaper somewhere else?
Hope he gets what he wants, live and let live, I say ;-)

Something is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it :|

Hence Li150 ~£2k, SX200 ~£6k.

I'm interested in your GP skid marks, can you confirm they were made by the original tyres.... :?:

As i understand it, the bloke to whom you refer has restored (not rebuilt) a TV175 ser1 to factory spec. using only original parts, at some extreme cost to himself.
Apparently it looks real nice in his lounge!

Still, as Sousurfer says "live and let live"

I too am interested in your original GP200 skidmark. I assume that you will have to send me the complete garage floor, please can you tell me how much postage and packing will be?

Hi Denis!
Get off my skid mark, I saw it first :moon:
Anyway, you'd never get the whole garage floor on the ferry...

If the skidmarks don't contain floor wax residue from the original Lambretta dealer's showroom then I'm setting said auction to ignore.

This skid mark, front or back? Rear ones are quite common but the front could be worth a bob or two, i'm watching the bids and going to pounce in the dying seconds
