Is it possible to add a battery when using a BGM stator?
The scooter previously ran with a battery, the battery loom is still in the frame. I do recall that it had a zener diode fitted and was on points but I ditched the original flywheel and zener as I was just going to stick a new electronic loom and 12 volt kit on it. original stator has gone into hiding too. For improved lighting (thinking of fitting some S type spot lights) I'd like to retain the battery.

Just done my series 1 my 2nd one without a battery but going to fit one when I get 5 minuets.
Did have to fit a capacitor to get a good constant DC like the last one, but its a series 1 with bloody good lights and a horn that is more than a duck quack.
I should add that DC was on my must have list for the series 1 along with front dampers and a kit
