nice pics what i like most is the fact that most scooters are modified in some way but at little cost , theres non of the pretentiousness thats prevelent today with "it was like that from the factory or its crap becouse its not italian/nos" they seemed to do what the could with the money they had unlike the cheque book elitism that been around for the last few years and is encouraged on some forums , there real snapshots of scootering history, and people using there scoots how they should be 8-)

shocky, things were harder then but we managed and used what was available, thats what is good today, you can have a nice restored machine all origional or you can fit go faster stripes, but it doesn't stop there ,there are so many talanted men/women who have made their scooters better and so much more technology available for very little cost, not belong before we are sending scooters to the moon!
keep them pictures coming there must be loads more, anyone got any scenes from bridlington in the late 60's ,scooters filled the entire promenade in the days of no crash helmets,.
regards

We were the Stockport Mod Squad back then in 78 I was the one on the left holding the flag
Re the tights we were all young and foolish and believed it when we were told if you want to stay warm on a long run wear tights ? so we all did
But I have no idea about the sussys You would have to ask Graham Lee about that hes the one wearing them.
Or Geoff AKA High Plains he took the photos and has many many more.
