You can get all the right bullet connectors/shrouds/crimper off Knowledge on here or via Vehicle Wiring Products

These are the bullets/shrouds at the top, the 3.9mm Japanese ones.

The crimper you'd need is the second one down, the MP71. Try a few tests crimps first to get it right and it does a fantastic job, and the clear plastic shrouds prevent any inadvertent shorts between cables.

Tip. Always remember to put the shroud on the cable first before crimping. Also because they do male to female bullets, you can make quick disconnections of wiring should you need to.

Sorry, forgot to add that there are some real s**te lampholders on e bay, which melt very easily. I'd recommend either getting a good one at a parts fair, so you can see what your getting. The one off my Injun resto was luckily a good type. The plastic has a sort of discoloured yellow hue to it and is a harder plastic rather than the semi opaque softer whitish one you have. Mind you, I'm only talking about if you do a Halogen H4 conversion, as these lamps give out a lotta heat.

Just looked at your photos again and in the first one it looks like you have three wires, two browns and a black all crimped into the same terminal very badly, plus a very badly crimped green wire in the second photo and a badly crimped turquoisy blue wire in the third photo. I also noted in your other photo you have a green and blue wire tye wrapped to your shocker mount. In fact, your wiring is shocking   :D If I knew where you lived I'd pop round and redo them all for you properly for nought. You have to remember that every point where there is a poorly made connection you will get a high resistance. PM me if you want, mate.

Sorry mate, me again. Just been looking through your gallery of photos.

1. Don't give up the day job.
2. Don't offer to come round and rewire my house.
3. Get the right crimps/shrouds/crimpers like I said and start from scratch re-terminating EVERY wire properly, cus that's crap    Sorry mate, but its funny.

this is how terminations should look when done properly. The clear shroud goes on first. The internal wire strands should be twisted together in a clockwise direction before being crimped between the first two tangs of the crimp and outer insulation is crimped in the second two tangs of the crimp.

This is the lampholder that came off me Injun (I have since repaired the broken festoon lamp terminal and cleaned up all the terminals), but you can see the colour difference from yours.

From what your saying, you've wired the brake light into the horn wiring, looking at your photo and my wiring diagram, your headset wiring looks wrong. PM me Drew and we can sort it out, I'm sure. ;)
