What's the preferred method to seperate the glass from the reflector?
How come phonetics isn't spelt with an 'f'?

Already tried that one, still finding little shards off glass.

Its a real bar steward of a job that involves laboriously picking and gouging the sealant out by hand until there is no stiction keeping the lens in and you can break the two apart.
Good chance you'll break it anyway and then you have to reseal afterwards without getting silicon all over the reflector and glass inside.

I found a Dremel with a cut off disc works well.

Unless its a NOS headlight I wouldnt fcuk about..theres a few remade good ones about right now but not a Kace..
Why do you want to separate it has the chrome peeled away...is there no one in Aus that sells em..?,what about a hairdryer to melt the sealant and a stanley blade to separate when it goews gooey..?

There may one ot two shops that sell them, but it still works out cheaper to buy from the UK

As for why, just playing around and I'm not going to tell cause it may not work and look crap and some grown-up might tell me off
