how do i use cable adjusters

Good to see you here Col. :D methinks this could be better than LCGB less vested interests by mods (dont mean those with parkas :lol: )

Druist, they go on the rearward side of the trunnion to tension the cable from that side to ideally have it hold the tension so that you have two hands free for a spanner and Allen key to tighten the trunnion.
Spanner? Just pull the cable through with large pliers or similar grips with the left hand and tighten the trunnion with the allen key with the right hand. Simple. ;)

I rarely touch the adjusters on the adjuster block, especially the one nearest the wheel. Too fiddly unless you use the MB revised type. Just do it by feel at the trunnion.
