Couldn't possibly say.eden wrote:what were the mods on the clubman?
RT225 dyno testing
I lose track, suffice it to say there is a large pile of clubman type exhausts with various things done to them.lozmondo wrote:Ian has this modified clubman been run back to back with say an AF or Tino one? ..if so I assume it must compare well to be used in this comparison.
looks interesting.
It's been tested against an AF clubman. The clubman in the graph is a heavily modd'ed tino clubman (the swan neck was an inch out!).
Yeah, Sarah and I are off to the night do on the Saturday. First three rounds on you!teamsequipe wrote: Ian, maybe see you at Max's do next weekend ?

Here you have it, this compares our modified Clubman against a standard Tino Sito Anncilotti clubman
Red and green MB Clubman dotted std Tino Sito Anncilotti clubman
Weve improved the lower down revs and torque and lost no top end.

so is the MB clubman just a devtour with bits welded on to disguise it as a std looking type clubman...?
or is it unique and different..
looking forward to seeing some pics...

I'll like to put my engine on a dyno but cant be fooked (and skint), I was running a Tino clubman but have since fitted a reverse cone clubman and found much more power.. now the speedo I have seems 'not bad' and I'm awaiting a rev counter to find a true speed rating, (all with a iron barrel I know chuff all about) which hits 59mph on the speedo.. who knows?
I know one thing, I wont be spending 700 odd quid on a kit when I can get similar performance out of a cast conversion.

I find this quite interesting, as there is a whole world of science involed with an expansion and yet not too much in a clubman(well not that anyone has explaned to me
) yet simular results are yeilded..

How come phonetics isn't spelt with an 'f'?

One option would be that we could modify clubmans but as Mark says "Who wants to modify clubmans for 40 hours a week".lozmondo wrote:Impressive, I'll have one ...not sure how much longer my Tino clubman will last..will they be available by next Thursday before I go to Cobblesoul ?
