some other advantages of this crank mod are ..........as has been said, and verified by feedback.................so far.........
Very good balance and smoothness of running and general better throttle response........
and better balance......means less stresss on bearings etc...........
and dont forget also..........the extra 500 rpm available..(which may not sound like much).....
but could in fact enable you to achieve another 5mph.........depending on gearing /power/torque etc...............

Lovely crank there Sean...I can see why it took you a long time?.............Will Spark Plug Indexing help?......although mainly done on multi-cylinder engines perhaps having the electrode gap facing the most performance enhancing way, would , however small be worthwhile?......especially for racers?....

Interesting read............
