Looking for the size of the cooper washers on a ScootRS Anti dive Disc So I can pick some replacements up before I can get to my garage and my lammy.
What I want to do is to replace the original ones since they don't seal the banjo up well enough and I have a minor leakage of brake fluid (a generally bad fluid to leak)

I had the same issue with leaks at both the top and bottom. I brought new washers (box of diff sizes from halfords) and used them. Was a little better but the only way i could get a decent seal was to really tighten and and i mean really tighten up the banjo bolt. This resulted in the ting tong bolt on the banjo burring over...kejj wrote:Looking for the size of the cooper washers on a ScootRS Anti dive Disc So I can pick some replacements up before I can get to my garage and my lammy.

Sef
be carefull that the bango bolt isnt bottoming out some do this becouse there too long sometimes its becouse the copper washers are to thin also the HEL washers wont fit on a scootrs bango bolt as there slightly smaller internally, but the HEL bolt is also shorter so a good replacement for the scootrs one if needed

also the banjo width can be different as well this can lead to bottoming out of the bolt causing leaks
i normally fit the bolt and measure how much gap i have then check the washer thickness and the banjo thickness it just saves you filling everything with fluid bleeding it then finding it weeps a little

Is brake fluid reusable?
Hate to have to rebleed it so at least I hope this will be the only times I have to redo it.

Replace the banjo bolts they are poor quality, some don't even fit through the banjo. Also replace copper washers or anneal ( heat cherry red and quench) old ones.
