As some of you are aware I've been playing with some designs for new pipes for Lammys.

Namely a Race and a Rally going job.

Just thought I'd show you a graph of the first ADS3 (Rally) to be produced.

The graph below shows an out of the box TS, just matched. Our ADS3 and JL3 Hp and LB/Ft.

Image

ADS has a slightly broader spread of power, equal top HP. Torque has increased nicely by over 2lb/ft. Peaks at around 6000rpm.

Its not the best graph as its against speed and cut off a bit early as Martins not used to a pipe performing that early I think. :) :D

We are currently doing a comparison on my TS of JL3, Fat Mamba, Dev Tour, Taffy Mk4. Namely all those that have had a bit of a name as a touring pipe.

Full comparisons graphs and actual road test results to come soon........what d'ya think?

They are the new 'Chiselspeed ADS' range of Lammy pipes, but don't want this to be the big sell and put into Dealers section just yet. That will come soon :)

Tested on my TS230, 30mm OKO, light touring tune.......

JL3 - HP 20.31 Torque 16.7
ADS3 - HP 21.69 Torque 18.79

JL3 Peaked @ 6.25k
ADS Peaked @ 6k

Adam do you have any comparison graphs of your race version against a JL4 for those of us who use the JL4 on the road?
Not as yet as a direct comparison. Clive preston is currently putting a 'tighter' version through its paces on Martins Gp4.

Will have some details soon hopefully......

Road testing the ADS3 'Rally' on the road against my previous Fat Mamba has shown its real difference. Currently running SX200 16x46 - 4.52 which in normal cases is fairly tall. With the new pipe on it got to 70mph like a feckin shot!! Going to up the gearing again to something like 4.25 and test it again, this will produce a genuine calc'd 70mph at 5.8k.

To look at the HP comparison between the two you'd choose the Mamba every time. Its about the same peak but a bit better spread. Torque however went from 16.1 lb/ft to 18.7 lb/ft and as discussed at length on here before, its that Torque stuff that gets the old girl shifting :-)

Apologies sold the JL3 a little short on previous post......This was a better run 20.79HP 17.29 lb/ft of torque.

Both had the same amount of runs and all up to temp.

Here is my TS230 light tour tune 30mm OKO with back to back comparisons against the popular JL3.

So far I'm really pleased with it. :D :D

Hi Adspeed

Just out of curiosity what jets and needle are you running in the OKO, as I have a similar set up.
Best Regards

Chris
