There are real problems with the quality of the steel used to make the brackets. The one I repaired was like chocolate: you could "peel" the bracket off the body of the silencer with a screwdriver. Utter rubbish.

I understand that not all are of the same quality, but someone should be ashamed of themselves for letting this batch escape.

I did about 1800 miles on my Ancillotti pipe before removing it to fit a Mikeck.
it was fine. and sold it on, and it was used again with no problems.
maybe mine was from a good batch
I think the longevity of a pipe has a lot to do with the way it is fitted, making sure it's not stressed at any point.
but those pictures are not a good advert.

Haha, thousand quid, what ya like! lol

Havent had a chance to weld it yet but looking at the bottom chain case bolt hole that has just dissapeared it doesnt look of great quality.

As I've said it came with a scoot, so not too bothered, I'll reweld it and add a bottom bracket and maybe a tail pipe bracket, see how we get on with that.

it should have had a tailpipe bracket, a loose clamp, rather than being welded to the pipe. Maybe the lack of that wasn't helping it all stay together...

...bad luck,i've got one on over 1k now and still in one piece. As stated it must fit straight on with no stress to brackets and should be secured on all fixings.Mine's not got the crank case one underneath but seems ok so far.I shortened tail pipe back to the crankcase clamp as I thought it was too long and had seen a pipe crack.
Its a good bit of kit...there's a new version out....it has stronger, thicker, brackets, the tail pipe clears the drain plug, bracket underneath and a two piece spring jointed u pipe... 8-)

These pipes go really well but they're made of cheese. I've welded mine three times now.
