Hi, just spent a fortune having a bike sprayed and the Chameleon Paint has come out all cloudy/patchy. Any ideas why this would happen please?

Simples, it was damp or cold either during the painting or whilst it was drying. It's called 'blooming' or 'blushing' and is caused by moisture trapped in the paint. If you are lucky you will be able to get rid of it by wet flatting with 2000 wet&dry followed by compound. If is deep though then it;ll have to be done again :(

I'd take it back and get whoever sprayed it t sort it out.

Thank v much, bloke said it was meant to look like it. It also looks like there are dents in the panels but there aren't. :x Don't really want him to touch it again but not riding it like it is.

I would try a little T Cut (or similar) on aa small area and see if it comes off....if it's mild and only happened due to being left to dry in a cold/damp atmos that may do it.

I once sprayed my old Cortina estate, I'd been tidying it up for weeks trying to get it looking respectable before taking the family plus the folks on holiday in it. I was working outside and time ran short due to having lots of rain so I ended up spraying it during a lul in the rain at 7pm. Within 30 mins of finishing, the car was covered in dew and by the following day my lovely red paint job had turned pink  No ammount of wet&drying or compunding would shift and I had to endure 2 weeks of p155 taking from my brother

Hope your's is sorted more easily 8-)
