Long range tanks

I've got a couple of the SSP 13+1/2 litre ones both spot on good fit and british made

Diablo, best long range tank. Mild steel so no cracking like SS, has anti-slosh baffles and pressure tested. Very easy to fit with the most logical mounting system I've yet seen. Excellent cutout for the carb and they will custom make them with toolbox area built in on request. They come unfinished so you do have to paint them but it's the best way to match them to your scooter. I have one in mine:

A quick question before i go fitting my Corrada type long range tank, can it be fitted with the toolbox still in place or do i need to remove it, fit the tank and then refit the toolbox? cheers Hicksy.

Agree with everything GP Kevo says.

Diablo tanks fit well, look well and last well!!!

clean them out, paint it nice and you cant go wrong!!!


Worth the money all day long!! shame they dont come full of fuel though

The tool box has to come out. some tips, you might have to cut the rubbers a bit thinner to get the toolbox back in and pre bend the straps. It wasnt an easy job for me......

Hi folks another tank fitting question,do the two bolts that tighten the tank straps both face towards the toolbox door, well the heads of the bolts if ya get my drift?cheers Hicksy.Timbo thanx for the reply fella.

Hello i just got my 12l long range tank in last night and when i went to put the panels back on they were harder to place on ,they felt tighter and took more pressure to fit ,could the tank be wider causing this, anyone have any experience of this ,i don't want my panels making a bid for freedom when out on the road,cheers Hicksy.

I wondered about fit and how accurate they were ,
