I have this mount on my GP and with the half nut, it still pushed the side panel

yeah i thaought that would be the case, think i will probably keep it as is until my panels are done then swap for a normal mount.

Syd, I'm not sure I understand why this is happening. I have the exact same mounts fitted on two of my scooters, both GP and one with Special style panels and have not had a single issue with them. It shouldn't be happening unless there are factors involved that you might not have considered.

If the panel's that close to the engine mount, what chance does the carb have of breathing?
