Cable is routed correctly and using a nylon line cable. As I said before springs are the same hight and ground on either end. Thanks for the input though

This is probably your best option without looking at 5/6 plate options. Are the steels still flat if laid on a piece of glass?

Good question, I didn't think of that :| If I have to take apart again I will try that ;)
