JL3 on a Series 2

Just wondering will a JL3 fit a Series 2? Don`t mind trimming the runner board

Yes it will, ive got a Franspeed jobby on mine [same pipe] and it fits fine, though i did use a fettled MB rear bracket, i dont rate the JL ones at all.

JL now do a jl3 to fit ser 2s,the new style brackets aint bad,scooter loopy john has re-made the rear mount,ive got one its a good solid bit of kit.....big bad john is his e bay name does some trick kit for lammys.

Just an update on this. It was a major pain in the hole fitting the JL3 to my S2 due to the routing of the downpipe which comes up under the left hand runner board.I had to panel beat the board nearly inside out to get clearance but since my scooter is a bit ratty I didn`t mind so much. The end can bracket also had to be fettled quite a bit to get clearance on the side panel. It`s on though and looks sweet :D
If you`re thinking of doing the same then save your pennies and buy the JL designed for Series 2`s, CLW4 I think. :roll:
