the front dampers on my jet200 seem to separate from the rubber bush at the lower eye?
when i bought the scooter last august it had a pair escort chrome dampers, after using it for a few miles [100-150] i noticed that the rubber bush had parted ways with the steel eyelet,
i swapped them for another pair [good second hand from a mate] and they have done it again
the scooter handles fine, and runs straight when you take you hands from the bars, but can the forks still be twisted or bent?
any suggestions?
front dampers, loose rubbers

So did i seemed to cure the problem
As my Dad used to say "Each to their own lad"
i forgot to mention i done this the first time as they were going out the way, so only fitted washers on the outside, but now they are going in the way [towards wheel] so figured it was something more serious perhaps,
i will try and get the rubber back in the hole [ohh err] any suggestions for this? and fit washers each side

you might have to use a longer damper stud standard ones can be to short
We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm
just spray some mr sheen on rubbers and they will slide in easily .
