pin stripes

does anyone know a decent supplier of strong 3mm self adhesive silver pin striping? i 've bought a couple of packs to split my new 2 tone paint job but it just ain't very sticky and starts peeling off after a couple of days , bloody waste of cash :flaming:
i'll need it posting to france :?:

best bet would be a vehicle signs place,they do sticky tapes etc and could prob fit 'em for you too.

This any good?I bought some 1/4" tape off him for Gulf paint job but it took too long to arrive (about 10 days, may maybe I should have ordered it earlier :oops: )

Ended up masking up and sprayting the pin stripes on :roll:

I haven't tried the tape since it arrived but if you can wait until Wednesday (not home till then) I'll open the packet and tell you what I think.

i think 3mm is 1/8", i've bought gp sidepanel stripes b4 and there sticky as anything, no probs, bought some pin stripes of ebay ,not sticky, bought some from a halfords type shop here also crap

remember too, that all polish /wax etc should be removed thoroughly before applying stick on pinstripes.........
always use something like "panel wipe "...."spirit wipe"./pre wipe degreaser...etc.

yeah , i know, its a fresh paint job, never had a polish, 2k paint, trust me it was the stripes that were crap, i just don't want to buy a nother crap set, i resprayed one of my old gp panels that i had scuffed at the same time as my new project, put the gp stripes on...perfect, same paint same batch etc, good quality stripes, but these shitty pin stripes....
