Hi I'm starting to clean off all the small parts for my italin GP, whilst i'm waiting to finnish off my body work,

I need the headlamp reflector re-coating or a new one, where can i get this done or who makes good reproduction reflectors.

Also what is an original bezel made from, is it a solid cast item or is it a thin pressed steel? i currently have thin pressed steel it seems a good fit but it could be better. i've seen some that seemed more of a cast look at a parts fair yesterday but the shape of the rim didn't seem as sharp.

Cheers Jason

there are some quite resonable repro headlights available and some really awful ones, unless you can actualy see and hold it I would say buy from a reputable dealer and send it back if it isn't up to scratch unless you really need it to be original .
as for headlight rims they are cast on italian gp's and good luck finding one that fits . I have 5 from various sources including a repro italian one that I was assured would fit properly but doesn't , the only one I have that fits is original that seems somehow fatter than the repro ones .
the one I am using I had to dremmel out to fit over the lip on the front of the headset.
