I am not sur at the moment untill I get back home but I think the Tap size is M12 and the pitch you should be using is 1.75 with a 10.75mm or 11mm jobber drill bit. It doesn't really matter which of the two, its just the bigger the jobber drill bit the better the thread. As you will find that the bolt does not wobble inside the thread. Buy a set of pitch guages from a tool store. Try Cromwel tools they are a decent quality there, and they will cost you round a lady Diver! Ill get back on here tomorrow when I get home and confirm the tap size for you friend!eibargum wrote:Could some kind sole tell me the thred size of the plug hole, cheers.

Gary, I just measured a level plug for you. The diameter is 15.7mm and the pitch is 1.5, for this I would recommend a M16x1.5 tap
BTW Pitch guages are really handy
