Has anyone used this manifold and / or knows where to get it, how much are they:

Nothing is original....everything is a copy of something. Not that i condone rip offs or counterfeit items, but why not use a cheaper cast item if you cannot afford an expensive CNC item?
Can it be THAT bad? Is no one else allowed to develop an inlet manifold? If one man develops a carburettor....are all other brands inferior and illegal?
What is the cost/performance benefit of the CNC vs the cost/performance of the cast vesrion?

Actually having seen both side by side, I prefer the Jimmers version, not saying the CNC one is no good, but there's a huge saving to be had by buying Jimmer's.fishi wrote:IT IS A cheap and ugly COPY FROM THE ORIGINAL !!!!!!! and NOT as good as the ORIGINAL !!!!

Hope to have these available very soon on the Teamsequipe website, keep an eye open.

If he was inspired to design and cast a manifold by the LTH version he "could" be legit. You'd have to show that yours was somehow different - at least here in the US where we like to sue the pants off of everyone.
If he simply made a mold directly from an LTH manifold that's blatantly ripping someone off. I especially wouldn't jump to carry the product if I just made a similar post regarding copyright and people ripping me off!
Aside from that, I can't see any benefit to having the manifold machined vs. cast - especially considering the price difference.

There's a HUGE difference between being inspired by a similar product, and someone simply scanning an item and copying it exactly don't you agree ? There's such a thing as intellectual property.................. Jesus ! I haven't even bought any manifolds yet and someone's having a go FFS !

Given that they both bolt onto the same item (a cylinder) a both have to hold the same item (a carb) and both have to route under a frame in the same way, the shape and stud patterns have to be nearly identical anyway.......so if you wanted to produce such an item (a manifold).....how/why would you make it different from any other similar product?
My point being, its very difficult to make two items that are both made for an identical purpose, within very limiting constraints that much different from each other.
(just asking intelligent questions and not taking sides or judging either way)

Out of intrest dare I ask
Whats the prices of both items
It does look like a copy but there is a main differance one machined and other cast, so can you say they are the same they are using two different metalogies and production ???
Not to fuel the fire what do others think
