BGM stator wiring. Help needed please....
Hello you lot. I have a BGM stator on my TS1 engine and i carn't remember where the wires go. I once wrote off a perfectly good coil by putting the wires the wrong way around, and my bank account won't stretch to a new un. If someone could tell me the colours and the correct place for 'em, i would really help me out.
I don't want to keep up with modern traffic. I want to hoon past it, preferably on one wheel!
that is easy: the green (verde), the red (rosso) and white (bianco)are going side by side to the cdi unit. the cdi should have the colours marked or written on it. probably in italian.
(the 'first' green on the cdi is connected to the green from the wiring loom of the scooter.)
the yellow wire goes into the regulator.
cheers

Thats great, thanks a lot dude. Is the yellow from the High tension coil on the stator then?

The yellow is soldered to the LIGHTING coils, there are no high tension coils on the stator. The coil to the right with the green wire soldered to it is the LOW tension (LT) coil. The HT coil is inside the CDI unit.wax wrote:Thats great, thanks a lot dude. Is the yellow from the High tension coil on the stator then?
Hope that helps

sorry to divert slightly off the topic, but out of interest will this stator fit a AF flywheel, anyone?
thanks.
