i have gone with the scootrs pipe ,which i read it has about same power as pm pipe as i like the look of the scootrs pipe not quite as rounded as pm and is in stainless which is really what i wanted as long as i dont loose power ill be happy,also is reinforced at end can unlike scorpion,also first viet item i will have bought so will see wot the quality is like,thanks for replies ppl,stay save peter

I believe stainless steel doesn't retain heat as well as the mild steel, and this has an adverse effect on power.

I run a Scorpion with a mild steel downpipe and you can really feel the difference in the heat given off between the 2 metals.

P.S. The different metals used for my Scorp didn't throw up the problems i thought it might, what with the metals expanding and contacting at different rates.
