wheel spin

ive started my engine rebuild ,so far i have only fitted the layshaft gears and endplate,everything is shimmed correct and the the hub bearing is new from mb,problem is when its in neutral and the rear hub is fitted the hub doesnt turn freely will it aventually freeup ?

is it very hard to turn the hub?

the hub can be turned by hand but wont spin at all , if that makes any sense

if wont spin freely like the front would there's too much resistance in the gears etc
