Do these effect the gearing much compared to a 350-10? I know they are wider but not sure about the height.Anyone find the handling much better than a 350?

Not sure about the gearing but my swalbes 100/90 handle very well, but not had 350/10 swalbe so they might handle as well..

They will change the gearing but not by much, maybe a couple of mph on your top end @ 75mph.
I loved the Weathermans in that size, but on split rims as they rubbed on the crankcase when fitted to ScootRS tubeless rims, I fitted 3.50x10 racemans on the tubeless rims and didn't feel as stable, so I guess it will depend on the combination of wheel and tyre as to how it feels.

They do rub a little on the inside of the engine case on mine because I have wide rim on the back, you can buy a spacer washer from MB but I have been informed you can file a little off the inside of the engine case to eleminate this..Its only very faint black mark so its not like your going over the top..I am going to do this with mine.soosh wrote:How much did they rub? IMO that's a bodge and not good practice. I think to gain sufficient clearance to account for the state of our roads and the impact this would have on tyre shape, the thickness of washers would be prohibitive and offser the rear wheel too much. I also think ScootRS tubeless rims are best avoided too, at least until they own up and do something about their shortcomings, split rims, correct offset valve innertubes and tyre sealant for me at the moment.soosh wrote:How much did they rub? Done it before and its ok,if use 10mm thick washers,then your in trouble.Been using scoot RS rims for over 4yrs and they have been fine.soulsurfer wrote:IMO that's a bodge and not good practice. I had some problems running this width tire on a wide rim bought here in the states from Dean speed. When running the 10x3.50 tires there was no problem but when I went to the wider/taller size I had rubbing issues. It was noticeable and I bought the nut/spacer the Mr. Broadhurst currently provides. Gotta say it's the nicest wheel nut I've seen and the spacer did it's job well. Now I have no rubbing but I'm probably going back to 150 gears as the SX200 gears are too tall with the taller tire here in San Francisco. I'm running Heidenau tires and love them. I have the Racer tires but will get the "Rain" tires next.
