Please retain their history and leave well alone...why would you want a newly Dulux looking shiny resto!!.....
leave well alone ride as is, just restore forks brakes seal on engines deal done,, then ENJOY

Some of us ride rat rods cause we have no money to restore. I would consider myself lucky for having the option
