Just as a starting point I know sod all about Lambrettas but I am helping a friend build up a GP he has a genuine SIL 200 motor that has done less than 1000 miles, he also has a JL3(?) exhaust and a 30mm Dellorto carb with around £200-£300 to spend. He is not after a screamer just something with a bit more poke as he is a fat b@5t@rd.

What options do we have?

Ive just upgraded my piston (asso) and stage 4 tune (on my iron barrel) care of Mr Brady..Im running PM25 and 30mm dellorto..

How about that for starters..200 sil engine BTW with 600 miles on from new....Sean told me it will do 100mph flat out uphill now pulling a caravan..

:frog: :frog: :frog: :frog: :frog: ..only kidding, will pull better now and be an all round better ride..not to expensive at all cheaper than kitting to be honest.

Take the crank to somone and get the big end changed at least, its a weak point on SIL engines.
