Wich cylinder crowl for Cento barrel
If I fit a Cento barrel to an Vega, can I keep the Vega cylinder crowl, or do I need a Cento/J125 item?

you will need the cento or j125 barrel cowling. you will want to make it a 125 though or better still a 140 using a tzr piston. you know you need a differant crank too?
Yes of course, I've got a complete cento engine. The plan is to put al the interneal into my lui50 casings. I was told there will be no problem with the cank, bearings an Gearbox because they are both 3-speed engine. Is that right?
Is it possible to keep the nice Vega/lui flywheel crowl when using the J100/125 barrel crowl? Are there clearance problems betwee barrel and frame?
Are there easy options to reinforce the crank? Perhaps a Jap. con rod? It doesn't look very stong to me.

oh ok, you initialy said vega rather than lui so i assumed you had a vega four speed. so yes the cento will all go in to the three speed lui casings.
you can use the vega flywheel cover and the head cowling will need a small dent putting into it so that the frame welded seam has more clearance. a piece of broom handle can be used with a hammer to make the dent. filing down the frame at this point helps too.
make sure you use bolts for the wheels that a slightly too long so that you can put a nylock locking nut on he other side as these three stud wheels are prone to working lose.
