I know what you mean. I used to think they were ugly great things. But, as my tastes in scooters have matured I must admit I would really like one now. I have seen one that was a blue/green colour. It was a sort of metallic paint and changed depending on which way you looked at it. I would swear that was completely original. It had the distinctive banded stripes on the side panels, and this was continued on the legshields as well.

i have an original green lince ,-absolutely original and unmolested in the garage.
a 125cc. bought 5 years ago new in italy:

metallic green where only mid-late jet models. not later series like
the series 80 model or the following lince series.
only very few early linces, not the later models (fibreglass headset-top, 12v ele. etc..)
where produced in green.

thanks soulpunk thats exactly the same colour as the 1 that I remember it was also a 125 i mustve been mistaken about the indicators being on stalks,it was bought by an a bloke who drove a bus I remember seeing it parked in the bus station quite often, the white 1 ended up having headset mudguard changed by a mate who got it cheap of somebody struggling with the electrics.ures looks great & its the only other green 1 that ive ever seen wot a beaut

the look of the scooter is quite specific..
what can´t be argued is its reliability. i don´t know many daily ridden scooters doing 3000miles journeys without anything (ok, 1 plug).
scooter has been through austria, italy, germany, denmark, sweden, norway.
really realiable. and also "quick". it does real 90km/h. which is very good.
quicker than some new, very good conserved 150s i have ridden.

Thanks for posting the picture Soulpunk. I don't think I've ever seen one in that colour.
