Yes, CDC used be the name of malossi.

The manual is very good.

Have a look down the mouth of the carb and check that there is a brass collar (about 4-5mm high) in the base of the venturi, around the needle. This is the primary choke and is a feature of two-stroke carbs. If the collar is missing, you have a four stroke carb and you will probably need to change this and the atomiser.

thanks for the replys checked the rubber it had malossi on it,also looked down mouth of carb and it had brass coller about 5mm high with a slight cut out in it,spoke to the gent i got it off and he told me he ran it with suzuki 205 top end untill the crank went bang.now what i have is 70 starter jet,x7 needle,115 main jet,250atomiser,45 slide, and theirs another jet just below the main jet with 56 on now if your looking upside down with float bowl removed it`s nearer the intake

thanks paul

the 56 is the pilot jet.
whats the atomiser/diffuser then....?
that is screwed into the center ,as i think you are confusing atomiser with tap /needle jet...

250 sounds like the number for TAP JET/FUEL VALVE ....

an atomiser number would hopefully be something like AV 266/AV 264.....or perhaps AS something.

the atomiser/diffuser is screwed into the body of the central tube into carb....its where your needle goes into... :D
